Hey Ladies,
The concert is getting very close and it is time to start
thinking about some of the details. Please over this and make sure you are
prepared to look your best on the stage!
Black underthings. Occasionally
under the lights, white can show thru a tiny bit. Go be measured for the right
size bra. It is amazing what a correct fit will do. You will have to go to a
place such as Macy's, Victoria Secrets or JCPenney to get measured properly by a
staff person. They can also suggest what type of bra would fit best. You don't
have to get a super expensive bra. But do get measured and try one or two on so
that you know how it should feel and fit.
Jet black socks. We usually get
L'eggs and Just My Size for uniformity.
Shoes- black dress with a strap. 1
1/2 to 2 1/2 inch heels are preferred. No patent leather. have to be pretty
strict with the gals. No backless shoes. For the singouts it doesn't matter as
much as long as they are dress shoes. Please get these checked off with Dausha,
Emily Luva, or Lisa.
Shell shirt with 3/4 length sleeve. A full length sleeve
can be cut shorter. But no sleeves shorter than over-elbow length. Last year
there were several choices at Walmart. So they are not hard to find.
By
now everyone should have their black pants.
Makeup- We will be wearing
bright reds for costumes. So choose carefully what makeup will go with that. It
needs to be very bold. Musettes has some makeup available. As far as eye shadow
goes, gold or white would be great. We will talk more in rehearal about what
colors would look best. NO BLUE EYESHADOW PLEASE!
Remember to stand
tall, like if there were a string attached to the top of your head pulling you
up straight. Keep your "headlights" forward. Yes that does mean flaunt it just a
little. This is the time for it. lol. Smile. A lot of mistakes are covered by a
great smile. When we are not singing between songs, keep your attention focused
on Lydia or straight forward. We want to look professional.
We will have
more details about jewelery, and the make up schedule posted to the blog within
the next few days so please check it often.
Can't wait to perform will
all of you! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to
ask!
Love,
Emily
