Jan 24---Snow Day!!

Ladies, we are canceling rehearsal again today because of the scary road conditions! Please stay home and stay safe!!! This will put us behind in our learning so please please please work on your music. The board is working on a way to try and make up some of this lost time. So, in the meantime....use your recording and your music and pdractice practice practice!!!! Happy snow day!!!

Hey lovely ladies!!! Was I the only one who thought today was a bit dicey??? And I'm not talking about the drive to rehearsal. Was a bit rough huh. Please don't sweat it sweet singing sistas!!! We have been on a mental and vocal hiatus PLUS we are singing some challenging songs this spring!!! Please don't get discouraged and try hard to not take offense...I am pretty sure we all felt the same way today! We CAN do hard things and we WILL be great! Use it as extra encouragement to dive into your music and really use the recordings we have to help feel more confident! It will come!!! I love you all, everyone has such different and wonderful talents!!!! Makes us a pretty remarkable group of friends!!! I missed you all. Feels good to be back!!! Xoxoxoxo!!! Lynette

Production Meeting

I hope you all had a great holiday break!  We're going to jump in head first and have a Production Meeting this week.  We will have a Production Meeting the 2nd Thursday each month.  Please pack a lunch for your little ones and have something to entertain them (movie?)  The first one is always the longest, but I promise to move it along quickly.

EVERYONE IS INVITED WHETHER YOU ARE ON A PRODUCTION COMMITTEE OR NOT!  This is the Musettes concert and I would like everyone to participate.  All committee heads are required to attend.  The committee heads are as following:  Dausha, Emily, Lorrie, Tracie, Lynette, and Gina.  I would also like Kimmy and April there also.

The concert's title is Sentimental Journey.  The story of the concert is a family on vacation driving around the US.  We will first cover the West Coast, then the South.  After intermission, we will travel to the East Coast and end with the Midwest.  I think our closing song will be I've Been Everywhere.

Come with all of your creative juices flowing!  I can't wait to hear what you have come up with!

Rehearsal

Happy New Year to all !!! Just a reminder that we'll be starting rehearsal this Thursday 1/10/13 at 9:20 sharp!  We want to start immediately with sectional rehearsal so please, please be there to warm up so you won't miss any part of sectional.  If you need to drop off children in Nursery please come earlier.

I am looking forward to learning the songs with all of  you.  It's going to be another FUN concert!!
